designed to drag our nations down..right on mate
Much like the occupiers in Calgary, the Strongs, Soros`and the Tides Foundation they don`t care about a little 'collateral damage'.

BTW, you have any connection between those three? Organizations like Tides seems to be the clearing house for their largesse.
are you kidding me..connections with those 3?! Hahahahahaha they are
socialist criminals.

i absolutely admire mothers determination.....and as stated my basic political philosophy will never change..it's just that i no longer worry about or for that matter even care what happens in Ottawa......i long ago realized that the ONLY thing that will allow conservative forces the opportunity to grasp absolute power and role back socialism is a national or global disaster of biblical proportions.....one that leaves the average citizen so terrified of the alternative they will allow a dictatorial government to override democratic safeguards and rule with an iron fist......i do not see this happening in the near future....
i reached this conclusion as a result of years of studying and watching the insidious creep of socialism ....socialism was not introduced as something (a party) that could be voted in one term and then voted out the next.....no socialism has been allowed (for almost 8 decades) to gradually permeate every facet of our lives.....probably as much as 40% of the population receives some form of direct payment/benefit from the government...most of the other 60% receives some form of benefit from the government...this insidious creeping of government tentacles has been introduced at glacial speed...unnoticed and stealthy.....until it is at the point even conservative and libertarian thinkers would be hard pressed to vote to give up their particular subsidy...that is why it is impossible to bring sanity back into the system via the democratic process......people are only willing to pay "lip service" to the apparent solutions as long as they have a direct vested interest in the government filling their pocketbook
Well said Mr Munday. The only thing I disagree with you about is if disaster is on the horizon. I believe many Western countries will face an economic/demographic tsunami if their destructive sociailist policies are not overturned. Western countries can fail too...we are just given more rope to hang ourselves.

I know Mr Munday, we have a Conservative government but in some ways you`d never know it. I believe Northern Gateway will eventually go ahead. The obstacles are huge and the source of the opposition is foreign, extremely deep pockets and unaccountable. Keystone is in the USA`s interests and NG is on ours, so they should happen.

i think it has come to the point in the west that the environmental movement has zero credibility.....they are against any development no matter what it is or how safe it is......consequently government pays only lip service to their concerns....sure when they get loud enough they can bully certain politicians into retreating but i think things are changing...especially with Harper in Ottawa....i think when they try to pull their nonsense on him it will only harden his stance and make him push forward with greater determination.....these environmental studies are a mere formality..........if the government decides to proceed and issues the permits then that is the law......true in the past the liberals have loaded the courts with political appointees that sided with the eco terrorists.....but that too is changing and i am not convinced they will get as favorable a hearing when they try to block it as they use to....time will tell
If only that were true Munday. Shelia Legget, was appointed by Harper to chair the hearings on Northern Gateway. Before the hearings even begin next month she has already delayed a decison by one year. Why you ask?? So, every foreign interest group with funding from George Soros or the competition in the Middle East/Venezuela/Nigeria can speak up and say why Canada can`t expand it`s export market.

We need to start speaking out against this kind of interference and corruption. The environmental argument is just an excuse and a flimsy one at that.

indeed, which is why i say no matter who is in Ottawa it never changes.....what would possess a CONSERVATIVE prime minister to appoint an idiot like Legget to head up such a panel ???/ why would a CONSERVATIVE prime minister appoint that idiot as parliamentary budget officer.??? why would a CONSERVATIVE prime minister not appoint more conservative judges to the bench...???..it just does not make sense and furthers my point about the whole system being rotten to the core.....
